Autoverkauf

Nach einer letzten Nacht im Auto mussten wir am nächsten Morgen unsere sieben Sachen ins Hostel bringen und waren dann mit den neuen Besitzern zur "Übergabe" verabredet.
Schnell noch ein letztes Bild mit dem Auto, bevor es zum Verkauf in die Stadt geht...

Ein letztes Bild (there she is, my wife and our home. I don't know about other camper vans but she was certainly one of the best. We traveled with her about 12000 km throughout New Zealand and thus have been to most places. We really liked her very much and it was hard to give her away. Actually I considered taking her home but 2500 US$ shipping cost is just a little too much. Well, the steering wheel on the left is of course not exactly what Germans are looking for.)Die neuen Besitzer sind ein nettes Pärchen aus Belgien. Hoffentlich haben sie genausoviel Glück mit dem Auto wie wir!

We were very lucky that a lovely couple was interested in our van. It made us quite happy to know that our van will be in good hands and we wish the new owners all the best with her.
... und somit wurde dies unser neues zu Hause: Das Kiwi Basecamp. Wir werden noch von dem Hostel berichten.

Our new home is the Kiwi Basecamp in Christchurch. It is quite nice, we do get fresh bread every morning and a lovely place to spend our remaining days here.
