Wir hatten uns schon länger gefragt, warum denn plötzlich so viele Einradfahrer ganz Wellington bevölkern.
Irgendwan kam dann die Antwort:
Schuld war die 15. Weltmeisterschafft im Einradfahren, die grade in Wellington stattfand.
Wenn man also schon mal Weltmeister zu Gesicht bekommen kann, muss man dies auch nutzen, dachten wir uns. Und somit besorgten wir uns ein Programm und schauten uns ein paar Unicycler an.

We were lucky to be in Wellington because we could see the 15th Unicycle World Championship. Hundreds of unicyclists of all ages were participating and showing off their skills. We were very impressed and certainly give it a try when we are back home again. It looked so easy ;-)
Jumps down or up, looked like they were climbing stairs - real easy
unicycles for speed or maneuverability - large or small - all could be seen
grinds or high jumps - these guys were incredible -
jumps and rotates the unicylce 360 at the same time, lands and cycles on
Germany against Switzerland - the unicycle hockey finals - Switzerland won by just one point
the best unicylce trick finals - very creative tricks were shown - pros only - nothing to imitate by novices
like in a circus but with a concret floor - this trick looked very dangerous and awesome
