auf nach Christchurch

Da sich leider keiner in Nelson für unser Auto gemeldet hatte, wollten wir am nächsten Tag weiter nach Christchurch fahren. Nach einer etwas kürzeren Nacht, gingen wir in Nelson noch in den Gottesdienst (ich wollte doch die tolle Orgel mal in Aktion sehen) und dann ging es weiter über den Lewis-Pass nach Christchurch.
Das Wetter in den Bergen war sehr regnerisch und somit gab es nur ein paar kleine Zwischenstops auf dem Weg.

Unfortunately we found only two people who were interested in our car but were looking for something younger. So we decided to go to Christchurch where more tourists start there tour through New Zealand. We drove through the Lewis Pass which lies in the heart of the southern Alps. Bad weather prevented us from taking too many pictures and therefore we stopped only a few times.

(Shortly before Christchurch it was time to eat - typical backpacker food - but also New Zealand breakfast - baked beans with sausages. Wish us look that we can sell our van for a good price in the next couple of days... I wish we could take her back to Germany *sniff* I'm sure she would be excited to see other parts of the world ;-) )
