We found a nice place for the night and were quite happy to see the sun shining for our Farewell Spit day.

auf dem Weg (along our way, high tide):

los gehts mit zwei großen Allradantriebbussen (we got onto the bus and our first stop was at a fossil place where the guide explained how the spit came to be, what rocks can be found and more...):

Sand soweit das Auge reicht...

*ich genieße das schöne Wetter* (it was really nice and we very much enjoyed the day)

und ein paar Turnübungen gibts auch ;o) (theory about nature is something we can read in books but don't really want to hear on our tour, so let's play :-) )

(the lighthouse at the end of the spit)

Hier jetzt aber grade die Kaffeepause beim Leuchtturm (the tour turned out to be too much lecture orientated and the guide showed off his incredible knowledge. Well, we wanted a bit more fun and not "you are ruining the nature and the world will go down because of us..." We already know that! But hey, if the world didn't suck we would all fall off ;-) After a coffee break we went to the sand dunes. ):

Sonst schleppten sich ein paar alte Leute die Düne hinauf ;o) (sand where ever you looked at)

schöner Blick (and even more sand on this one. The bad things about guided tours are you can't take time to just sit there and enjoy. It's basically take your picture and keep going...):

Die Oma rechts war cool und ließ nicht nur witzige Sprüche los, sondern rutschte auch die Sanddünen hinunter (but some of the old folks which were roughly 90 percent on the bus felt like kids. This old grandma sled down the sand dune even before me :-) ):

Jürgen hatte auch seinen Spaß (so I figured if Grandma slides down I'd better run up):

... wie ihr seht ;o) (quite awesome, sand dunes are just big fun for everyone)

To sum up the day, the tour was a bit disappointing we hoped to see more and especially to walk around more. The tour had three stops, fossils, lighthouse and sand dunes. We didn't go to the tip of the spit and yea well it was a bit too much guided. But we enjoyed it nevertheless
